Round One: AElfwyn and Kadaj
The moon was high in the sky, the winners from the last match still feeling fresh enough for another fight. Everyone stayed well away from them.
"Hm it seems like I'm last this time." Fai mused aloud, looking up at the sky with a thoughtful expression. No one could tell what he was really thinking.
"After this round is over, we'll be back in the lower area." Sazh said to those beside him. "Any chance we can form an escape plan there?"
"We could try, but from what happened last time, Kamai is watching what we do down there. Probably for those reasons." Nero replied.

"This is getting old, what are we going to do?" Fang questioned the others around her.
"Nothing, bird brain." Lyrah hissed. "Master's got plans for everyone."
"Yeah, lose and get sent home, live and fight another human being." Sazh snapped at her, tired of the swordswoman's words.
"Not everyone here is human." Lyrah swept her gaze around the others. "In fact, only Leon and Yuna are human. L'Cie don't count, sorry." She sneered at them.
"Why you-" Fang reached for her spear just as Kamai called out a name, snatching her attention.
"Squall Leonheart."

Four people now stood under Kamai's balcony on the winner's platform. Cloud stood on his own, Lightning avoided Dante and chatted with Shura, also avoiding Dante. Rejected, the demon hunter settled for watching the fights instead.
The other fighters waited patiently, no longer tense, as Kamai shuffled through the bowl of names. He was still being careful, knowing his every move was watched by his elf nemesis below. All he left her to go on was intuition, which wouldn't help her if she tried to pin blame on him for anything that went wrong.

As they watched the blonde walk forward, Fang came over to reply to her fellow Pulsian's comment.
"There's not much we can do here. We have no chance at the moment."
"We're just losing more chances for every person that goes home." Saix stepped in.
"Miss Farron, step up please." Kamai called out Cloud's partner.

Midday is when Kamai awoke and opened the portals for the crowd to return. While they filed in, he sent a message down below for the contestants to be ready and woken. His servant, Palin, raced from room to room and woke anyone who slept, shuffling them into the lounge. There were complaints, but they otherwise listened.
Above them, Kamai stepped out onto his balcony, looking upon the crowd, which had doubled in size. It seems friends and families were told of the event, and came to watch.
"Good, this will be exciting." Kamai grinned to himself. He lifted a hand and snapped his fingers.

The contestants weren't quite ready to go to their rooms yet. Some of them waited in the large circular lounge, either standing or sitting on the comfy couches. Others paced the halls or even tried to find a way out. There was none. The only way in and out was through Kamai's magic, and that meant they'd only be out when he allowed them to be.
"Man, this sucks." Rin grumbled, his black tail swishing about in the air while he sat in one of the chairs.
"Well, soon as we either win or lose, we're outta here." Shura replied to him.
"How can you be sure?"

"Based off the other elemental creatures, I think it's safe to say this last one is the beast of Light." Genesis reported to the other three with him.
"Vergil, you are on the first team." Kamai wasn't picking names from the bowl. They hoped he would pick fairly. "Joined by Sora."

Just by the name, they could guess its element quickly.
"So who will fight her? Let's see Lightning Farron."

The Planet of Pandora was full of life; the Na'Vi people were working peacefully alongside with the humans who came to their planet. Then it began to go askew. The humans were a little too free handed with their guns, and killed Na'Vi at random. But the Na'Vi fought back.
Now they were in a war. Two people among the humans think it's wrong to kill, two marines. They have Avatars, artificial bodies, but they're new to the world of Bows and Arrows and the spirit of Eywa. They can't work alone, and they still have to gain the trust of the Na'Vi as well.
Maybe they're not alone

So i've been on FanFiction a lot, seeing as I mainly write thsoe and hardly do art. I still get on ever day though to check things, so if there's something you want to ask, just leave a comment. I'll reply when i can.
In case you missed it in the last journal, which is probably true as I got no replies, I am creating a story that is a crossover of Bleach and the game Prototype. It's still a work in progress but is nearly done. If it sounds interesting, leave a comment and I'll post the first chapter. If not, leave me a comment as to why it sounds boring and I'll try to convince you. Thank you if you read this!
That is all.
